It’s time for a new era of Bounce amazingness! We are proud to officially announce Bounce USA’s first full-time employee, Jennithan Cortes! As of yesterday (the 10th of September) Jennithan will be taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development for our USA arm of the business, and let me tell you, there’s no better man for the job!

Jennithan hails from Boston, Massachusetts, and is an experienced, self-motivated professional with over twenty years of demonstrated success in business management. Just like Kelly here in Australia, Jennithan will be in charge of developing the business and building and maintaining relationships with clients.

“Bounce brings together all the different facets of my professional and personal life, under one umbrella. Bounce gives me the opportunity to invest my time, energy and passion in working together with people and organizations. Seeking well-rounded growth, and being able to provide unique solutions that bring about success in a friendly, supportive and respectful manner. To be in a position to make such an impact and bring about great prosperity for others is more than just a job, it’s a lifestyle, and I look forward to it.”

Jennithan has been working alongside Bounce since its USA beginnings in 2011, and already has a good knowledge of the business. With a wicked smart sense of humour and diverse working history, Jennithan is going to fit right in with the rest of the Bounce crew.

There’s no stopping our new Bounce trainers in NZ

August saw Maria jet-setting off once again to visit our friends from Lift Social Enterprises in New Zealand. With some fresh trainers joining the crew, Maria delivered our specialised Train the Trainer program across two days. What an honour it is to be able to get out there and empower trainers to create a space of change for the Bounce participants.

A big welcome to the Bounce Community Angela Spooner, Irone Broughton, Regina Cachuela and Graeme Ewart! Congratulations on becoming the newest Way Finders for New Zealand!

Matt’s away (and the calendar’s filling fast!)

Typical! While we’re all slaving away at our computers, Matt’s living it up in Europe, basking in the sun and working on his golf swing (not that we’re jealous or anything). For those of you who didn’t know, Matt is officially on holidays from the 31st of August to the 2nd of October, travelling around the world and seeing the sights!

Not to worry though, there’s heaps of support for everyone while Matt is away; Kelly (0419 326 694) and Chris (0400 610 808) are still available for all your program needs.

In other news, 2018 has been an amazing year of growth and outcomes for job seekers. With only a few months left, our training calendar is getting very full. If you’re looking to book a program for your job seekers before the end of the year, you’ll need to be quick! We only have a couple of dates left for October and only a handful left for November (We’re also starting to take bookings for January and February 2019!).

While Matt’s away you can get in contact with Kelly on 0419 326 694 or Chris on 0400 610 808 to secure your bookings before you miss out!

Trainer of the Month

Last month we looked at one of our incredible USA trainers, so for September we want to show our appreciation, and introduce you to a New Zealand trainer who is taking his role to a whole new level!

Atarau Hamilton is a 23-year-old Bounce trainer whose passion for transforming the lives and mindsets of his regions Rangatahi, goes above and beyond. Highly respected and extremely influential with young people, Atatau puts his heart and soul into his work.

Atarau comes from a background in sales and customer service, which has developed his incredible facilitation skills and his passion for education and training. He is fluent in Te Reo Maori and incorporates Tikanga into his facilitation and training style.

Being a Bounce trainer requires dedication, determination, and most of all, passion. Atarau has all of these things and so much more. Thank you, Atarau, for inspiring others to live their very best life.

Tip of the Month

“Success is not a solo mission. Surround yourself with people who support and inspire you, the journey is better when it’s shared.”
